Mr Ellis was very kind, pleasant and listened. I couldn't have wished for better care. I trusted him completely to do my operation. Mr Ellis kept me informed before, during and after my operation (total knee replacement).

Mr Ellis is the most kind and caring surgeon, he listened to what I had to say and sped up the process in order to have my operation asap as i was in such excruciating pain that would leave me in tears, my pain in both my knees had made my life a misery and I could barely walk but with the skill and expertise of Mr Ellis I went for my 6wk check up to see Mr Ellis and I went in walking , no wheel chair no walking stick, just some muscle pain that will take some time to recover. Thank you so much Mr Ellis you are an amazing surgeon and a wonderful person.

I had severe arthritis in both knees, making it hard to walk any distance. I had a consultation with Mr Ellis in October last year. In which he showed me the x-rays, and discussed the options I had. the best lasting option was to have both knee joints replaced. I had my right knee replaced in January 2019. and was surprised how quickly I recovered . walking my dog and driving my car after 6 weeks. I had my left knee replaced on Tuesday. I am now home and walking around my kitchen just using one crutch. The information , care and attention from Mr Ellis has been outstanding and I cannot thank him enough.

The issues with my left knee have improved significantly since seeing Dr. Ellis. His knowledge and experience speaks for itself. Before seeing him I was convinced nothing could be done for the pain, that it was 'only' arthritis and that I'd just have to put up with it. Not so. Mr Ellis quickly identified the issues and knew exactly how to treat them. I feel like a new person today and for the first time in three years: a) I am no longer in constant pain b) I am walking without a limp c) I can walk up and down stairs without issue d) I am able to walk my dog for the first time in three years. I would also like to point out that Dr. Ellis is a kind man who listens and provides his professional opinion allowing for a fully informed discussion so that you know exactly where you stand. It goes without saying that I highly recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone requiring treatment of the knee.

Mr Ellis is a very understanding and considerate person who listens to his patients, even when they ramble, and gives them a sense of calm. Mr Ellis has been fantastic throughout my time with him and the treatment he has given me to date has been nothing but the best I could have ever expected from any specialist. In July I am having a knee replacement and have every faith and trust in Mr Ellis doing this operation and confidence in him doing his best for me x I cannot praise this man enough as to how he has helped me in my time of GREAT need and pain. Thank you Mr Simon Ellis
