After going round the houses with a knee problem i was so relieved when first meeting Dr Ellis,he was very thorough and explained my problem in a way that i had not previously had and that is reassuring when you are attempting to explain how something feels inside your own body,he was a very nice and polite man which some doctors im afraid are sometimes not.You are also very much kept in the loop as to what and why is happening,i would whole heartedly recommend him,if you have a knee problem this is the man to see,thankyou.

i have known Simon for many years and he has consistently been a great colleague to me and others - even though we have different specialties.
He has a great reputation amongst colleagues as a great surgeon. He listens and explains things very well. Shared patients always have a good word for him.

I had an appointment with Mr. Simon Ellis yesterday. He is a surgeon of the old school, by which I mean, he is courteous, he has the ability to put you completely at ease, he is informative and explains everything in clear and concise terms. Finally I would add that he appears abreast of all the recent advances in his speciality. I would recommend him to any friend who suffered from a knee complaint

A fantastic experience from start to.finish. Simon is a straight talking engaging and friendly Doctor. He answered all my questions and put my mind at rest throughout the process.

Simon previously operated on my right knee and the outcome is now what I describe as my bionic knee! When I then injured my left knee I had no hesitation to request that Simon was my chosen consultant. Clearly an expert in this field but it also helps that he is an extremely nice person. He is extremely thorough yet takes the time to explain the situation, discusses options in simple terms and makes, what is a fairly anxious situation when undergoing surgery, as relaxing as is possible. I would also add that he is supported by a very professional and helpful team. I would absolutely recommend Simon.

Mr Simon Ellis is one of the South East's leading knee surgeons. He has over 25 years’ experience as a consultant based in Kent.
