Mr Ellis saw me today with regards to having knee replacement surgery. I have to say I could not have been treated with such respect and dignity. All aspects of the procedure were explained. Having Parkinson which makes me very anxious I could not have felt more secure in the knowledge that Mr Ellis and his team will look after me at all stages of the procedure. Again, many thanks to Mr Ellis and all the staff that welcomed me to the Spires Hospital Walderslade. Linda Moore

Thank you so much for your kind feedback. I am all too aware that coming to see a consultant can be a really stressful situation and for those who suffer from Parkinson's any unnecessary often makes the symptoms temporarily worse. I am so pleased that you felt treated with such respect which is essential for every patient. I look forward to ensuring your confidence is not misplaced. With kind regards Simon Ellis

I will be forever grateful to Mr Ellis for recognising that I was seriously ill with, what was later diagnosed as, pneumonia with sepsis. I had consulted Mr Ellis on an entirely different issue when he noted my respiratory problem. He immediately admitted me to KIMS and subsequently referred me to the appropriate respiratory specialist at KIMS. Mr Ellis clearly has a great relationship with his colleagues at KIMS hospital who looked after me beautifully.

Thank you so much for leaving your feedback. Although knee surgery is my personal speciality it is paramount that as a doctor I use my clinical knowledge to recognise when other medical problems occur and ensure that suitable help from my colleagues is provided in the most timely fashion. Thank you very much for your lovely feedback, it is often much worse being a relative where your loved one is undergoing a procedure than undergoing the procedure yourself. I am delighted that you felt my care was so good. With kind regards Simon Ellis

Mr Ellis filled me with confidence from the moment I met him. He was very thorough, explained my condition in detail, provided me with options for my treatment and allowed me to make decisions, with his expert advice, on my future treatment. I found Mr Ellis very easy to talk to and easy to understand. I was treated as an NHS patient and being in pain for some 10 years it was a joy to be referred to Mr Ellis and receive such good treatment. My treatment in KIMS Hospital was excellent and all staff kind, friendly and helpful at all times. It was a joy to meet and be treated by Mr Simon Ellis and I would totally recommend him to anybody in need of a total knee replacement.

As an NHS patient I feel extremely lucky to have been referred to Mr Ellis, for a total knee replacement, at the end of October 2018. I met him at KIMS Hospital Maidstone and was very impressed with the professional, caring and knowledgeable discussion we had about the surgery, potential problems and recovery time. This allowed me to make a decision based on fact rather than fiction. My other leg is in need of a replacement knee and so I will be in his more than capable hands once again, in a couple of weeks time. I finish my review with a question. If you are in need a knee surgery "why look any where else?". Mr. Ellis is in my mind the person to be trusted with your surgery.
