Mr Ellis was extremely polite and informative. I definitely felt reassured in his presence, that he listened to my concerns and will make sure I have the correct final outcome for me. Many thanks.

On my first appointment with Mr Ellis, I am pleased to say that my daughter and I were made extremely welcome. There was no rush, I was given time to put my case which was listened to in detail. All of which gives me confidence and trust in the advice which is to follow.

If only all consultants and GP's took time to listen as Dr. Ellis. He is `Gold' standard for listening skills along with his advice. He took time to hear and encourage my wife, Debbie, to respond to his questioning and then summarised for her. Debbie struggles with a brain injury that has seriously affected her communication skills. His suggested course of treatment for Debbie's knee issue has yielded significant improvement. Dr Ellis's time and patience during both consultations and treatment was very much appreciated.

I saw Mr Ellis when I came into the one hospital after concerns about my top left thigh after having key hole surgery on my left knee . I was scanned and told that after surgery i had bleed into the knee and that was why the top of my thigh was so swollen and sore. Mr Ellis said he had seen this once before due to me being on blood thinners. Mr Ellis was very kind ,patient and listened to my concerns he put me and my mother at Ease . After he explained what had happened and why I felt so relieved. I would recommend Mr Ellis for his caring nature and pleasant manner and putting my mind at ease

Mr Ellis was first recommended to me by medical colleagues of my wife who is a specialist nurse. Her question to them was simple, "If you required knee surgery, who would you go to"? Simon Ellis. Mr Ellis performed an ACL repair on my right knee almost 5 years ago, so when I needed to consult about an injury to my left knee, there was no question of who I wanted to see. Surgical procedures should not be undertaken lightly and having a surgeon in whom you can have complete trust is paramount to a successful procedure. I trust his judgement and skill implicitly and whatever the results of further investigations may be, I will act on his advice.

Thank you so much for this very positive feedback. I agree that making a decision to undertake surgery should always be carefully considered with risks and benefits clearly explained and never undertaken lightly. I am delighted that you feel so confident in my judgement and skill and are happy to share your experiences. With kind regards Simon Ellis
