Dr Ellis did my left knee replacement in November 2019, so when it was time for right knee to be done I was pleased that dr Ellis would be doing the operation. Dr Ellis explains everything what will be happening and what is expected from you afterwards to help with your recovery.I had the operation in February 2021 and am very pleased with the outcome, hopefully now I can look forward to the future leading a more pain free life. Thank you dr Ellis and your team for the great care I received during my time in hospital.

Mr. Ellis performed my right knee replacement a few years ago and I was so pleased with the outcome. Now I’m having to have the left knee replaced and I’m delighted that Mr. Ellis is going to perform the operation. He really is a people person and very attentive during and after surgery.

Mr Ellis always has time to listen, understand and explain the problem I was having with my knee. He corrected the problem with an arthroscopy and I was able to walk out of the hospital unaided. Thank you so much

Mr Simon Ellis is one of the South East's leading knee surgeons. He has over 25 years’ experience as a consultant based in Kent. Simon's base is now the Spire Alexandra Hospital, Walderslade where he is able to cover most areas of Kent. Simon specialises in knee sports injuries which include meniscal and ligament issues as well as the management of knee arthritis.
Simon was appointed as the Medical Advisory Committee chair at the Spire Alexandra Hospital in March 2020 a role within the management team to oversee the quality of care in the hospital.
