Having read some of the other reviews, I do not think there is much I can add! I have been fortunate to have seen Mr Ellis on a number of occasions for various knee complaints on both knees, the last of which was just two weeks ago. Mr Ellis has a unique way of ensuring you feel safe and secure with whatever treatment or situation you might be in. As an in patient, out patient, or about to go under the knife, his calm and gentle manner allays all nerves ! Mr Ellis takes time to listen and explain and always goes that extra mile to ensure you feel you are in safe hands. A few years ago I had an fall which resulted in a totally messed up knee. The following day my daughter who lives in South Africa had an accident which resulted in her being admitted to ICU. Due to my injuries I was not able to fly to be with her. I saw Mr Ellis and I'll never forget the matter of fact and calm way he said to me. "You need to be with your daughter and it's my job to make sure you're fit enough to make that happen, so let's do this" He did indeed make that happen and although not able to fly immediately, Mr Ellis ensured everything was done in order to expedite what was medically required in order to pass the necessary fitness level to obtain my Fit to Fly Certificate and be with my daughter. I'll be forever grateful to Mr Ellis for that.

The care given by Mr Simon Ellis is second to none, from my first appointment with Mr Ellis I knew I was in safe hands, his knowledge is extremely valuable in assessing, checking and finally rectifying the joints, in this case my knee. I eventually agreed upon the keyhole surgery and was glad it was Mr Ellis and his team doing this, They took great care of me from the moment I entered the hospital (Kims). Everything went according to plan with great success and I'm now on the road to recovery. I would highly recommend Mr Ellis to anyone without hesitation, he's a lovely man who really cares about his patients and wants the best for them. In my case if I need any further joints looked at I will specifically ask for Mr Simon Ellis. He's one of the best in this field in my opinion. Thank you Mr Ellis

I don’t think my care could have been any better, and such a nice man. Mr. Ellis was very professional and very approachable , I was kept informed at every stage of my procedure, from the first meeting right through to surgery, and after, with a phone call to my wife to let her know that I was ok and the surgery went well.

Dr Ellis put me at complete ease, not a bad thing can be said about this man. He was very understanding and caring and I knew I was in good hands at all times. He let me know what was going on each step of the way through my surgery and hospital stay and also kept my daughter well informed, I can't thank him enough!

Simon he’s a very understanding surgeon he made me feel very welcome and relaxed. He was always prepared to listen. straight after the operation. He phoned my wife to let her know that I was okay which I thought was very very kind of him. His work and his team are very very professional in what they do. Well done. Keep up all the good work Simon thanks for fixing my knee .
