I found Mr Ellis exceptionally pleasant, knowledgable and was very apt at explaining the whole procedure from start to finish.
His postoperative discussion on the day of my operation was informative at a comprehensive level.
He made me feel very comfortable and reassured

I would just like to say thank you for the excellent treatment I was given by Mr Ellis and the rest of the hospital team. Mr Ellis is the consummate professional but with understanding care and warmth. I have been a very lucky lady to have had this operation at Kims on a contract bought by the NHS for which I will always be grateful. The treatment I received was second to none. From the porters, refectory staff, housekeepers, receptionists, nursing staff anaesthetist, the theatre staff and the pharmacist I couldn't have been more looked after. I was always seen on time and all the appointments kept, with no cancellations. The physiotherapist I saw really helped me to gain the strength in my knee for which I am very grateful and for all his good advice. I am unable to suggest how to improve the care I was given because I had all the care given to me without fault.

I was very impressed with the whole process, it was efficient, considerate and everything went smoothly.
The staff were friendly, but still had a professional manner.
I couldn’t fault the facilities either, as it was all exceptionally clean and tidy

As a physiotherapist I have first hand experience of surgical outcomes. Mr. Ellis has consistently successful outcomes from menisectomies, to ACL reconstructions, total knee replacements and complex fractures. Patients of Mr. Ellis can expect an accurate diagnosis with surgical intervention only when no conservative treatment is appropriate. Patient feedback is that Mr. Ellis is a personable doctor who inspires confidence in his patients . Should I have patients who need a surgical opinion I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Ellis..... I have again consulted Mr Ellis regarding knee problems - he operated on my right knee earlier this year , he was understanding, clear and diagnosed, operated and organised physio - the whole process was managed with care, understanding and efficiency - Mr Ellis was respectful, friendly and skilful- my knee is brilliant - so when my other knee deteriorated I actively sought him out via NHS Chose and book - i feel very confident of an excellent outcome.
