I have been seen by Dr Ellis on a few occasions and found him to be very friendly and sincere. The before and aftercare again from Dr Ellis following a ACL operation was second to none, explained everything thoroughly. Unfortunately for me my follow up a year and a half later, was to be advised the operation has failed due to arthritis spreading. This was dealt with very well and have had a variety of ways to go. Just disappointed it won't be Dr Ellis Doing the next operation as felt completely safe in his hands. Would thoroughly recommend DrEllis to anyone having problems with there knees etc.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. I am sorry that your knee has deteriorated to the extent that you need further surgery. The surgery which would be best for you falls outside my scope hence the referral to a colleague with the expertise you need. with kind regards Simon Ellis

My father was very anxious and quite stressed at the thought of having to have surgery. After meeting with Mr Ellis and having him explain to my father and I the whole process of not only what the operation entailed but, what input was expected from my father to make this a successful procedure, he felt confident. My father felt completely different and he left feeling more than confident that this was going to be a life changing experience for him and would restore his quality of life and that is exactly what happened. Mr Ellis was wonderful, instantly putting my father at ease and I couldn't think of anything that would have made this whole experience better, he is a wonderful doctor who provided superb care, before, during and after. Thank you.
