I have recently seen Mr Ellis for a problem that I was really worried about with my right knee. Mr Ellis treated me in a very thorough and professional manner so much so that I am now looking forward to the next stage in my treatment whatever that may be and ultimately getting back to full fitness. At this point in my treatment it is difficult to imagine how it could be improved. Thank you so much.

I saw Mr Ellis after sustaining knee ligament injuries whilst skiing. He was very thorough in explaining the results of the MRI, sharing research and carefully explaining my options so that I fully understood what was the right treatment option for me. He took plenty of time over the consultation to make sure I had all the information I needed to make a decision the next day, to proceed with surgery. He also took the time to write up all the notes of our discussion that night. I found his manner warm and open and I was extremely confident in his care. He phoned me several times before the operation to confirm details and reassure me that the operation would not be postponed despite the heavy snow! The surgery went well and I would not hesitate to recommend Simon Ellis to anyone requiring his skill set.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review which is much appreciated. Skiing injuries are common at this time of the year but come in many different forms hence the need to tailor the treatment to each individual patient. It is so important to ensure that each patient understands the exact injury and the treatment options which can be complex and needs time and information. I am delighted that you feel my approach instilled confidence and am glad that we were able to go forward with your surgery this week despite the weather. I wish you a speedy recovery. With kind regards Simon Ellis
