Found Mr Ellis very understanding and easy to talk to I was very comfortable in his presence and have no worries about under his care . He explained the procedure and I understood everything.

I have only had my consultation at the time of writing, but was instilled with confidence at that consultation. The procedure was explained to me in detail and all questions answered. I am now looking forward to the planned operation on the 6th June.

My GP had the forsight to send me to KIMS for my full knee replacement, l was in so much pain and as soon as l walked towards Simon Ellis he know what the problem was and l felt at ease from the minute he shook my hand. I am now signed off by Simon and have no doubt if the left knee needs doing l will be back not just just at KIMS but l hope with Simon Ellis. Thank you Simon.

Mr Ellis gave me a total knee replacement under the NHS at KIMS hospital, Maidstone at the end of November.
From the moment I met him at my consultation it was clear he is at the top of his game. However, Mr Ellis is not in the least intimidating. There is nothing he doesn't know about knees and his conversations with patients must all have a similar thread but I never felt I was on a conveyer belt.
Mr Ellis manages to deal with each patient as an individual and is amazingly patient, explaining everything in a way I could understand. He continued this communication through the whole process, checking before and after the procedure that all was ok and keeping me informed of likely operation time etc.
Post operative care similarly has been excellent and I've been amazed how he seems to remember each patient as an individual.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr Ellis 100%.
