I would totally recommend Mr Ellis to anyone without hesitation. He performed an arthroscopy for me six years ago, and since then, my knee has been trouble free. Now the other knee is playing up, he is my 'go to' surgeon. Mr Ellis is considerate, attentive and takes the time to explain exactly what he considers are the best options available to me. Meeting with him set my mind at rest and I am very content to take his advice. I would like to say a huge 'Thank you' to him for his time.

Made me feal at ease, gave good advice, explained things well, sending loads of imformation via emails, both profesional and friendly, none of us like to have operations so it helps when your surgeon can put you at ease.

I have been seeing Mr Ellis now for i believe 11/12 years I have total faith in him, having had several arthroscopic investigations over the years No question is ever too silly to ask and he always answers it in ‘English’ not medical words that we don’t understand I do require two new knees but am still too young for this at present, but hope that Mr Ellis is still practising when the time comes and he is able to do this for me, in the mean time he administer’s regular injections to relieve my pain 100% recommendation for this gentleman

Thank you very much for such a kind review. It is always difficult making the right decision about timing of joint replacement. I too hope that I will still be practising for a good number of years yet. With kind regards Simon Ellis

I have seen Dr Ellis twice in his clinic now and can honestly say he is very professional in his field and knowledge and has made me feel at ease about a forthcoming knee replacement despite only being in my mid 40’s. His consultation was thorough throughout and didn’t feel rushed and he explained everything to me in a manner that I understood. Thankyou.

Thank you very much for this review. Deciding to carry out joint replacement is always a major step for any patient however when in your mid 40's the decision making is extremely hard both for you as the patient and us as orthopaedic surgeons. It is only with careful review of every patients symptoms, the effects on their life and the knowledge that despite trying all other options the relief provided by them has been insufficient leaving no viable alternative. I am glad that you feel that the advice and information provided allowed us to reach the appropriate decision for you. With kind regards Simon Ellis
