I went to see Mr Simon Ellis on Wedneday 20th June 2018. I was given a warm welcome on my arrival. The attitude, care and information given regarding my impending knee operation was easy for me to understand in layman terms. I came away from my appointment feeling happy in the knowledge I had the best man for the job.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. I am touched by your comments. I am well aware that going to see a consultant to discuss a medical problem can be very daunting and making the right choice is essential at the end of the day. Ensuring that patients are well informed and able to make the right choice is of paramount importance and I am delighted that you came away feeling happy. With kind regards Simon Ellis

Mr Ellis is the most caring surgeon I have ever had dealings with, I know he is getting paid for it, but so are NHS surgeons. I have had the misfortune of contracting a cellulitis infection, but he has been personally involved in the treatment, which I find very reassuring, also the whole team at KIMS hospital. I had a total knee replacement on the 12th of June and discharged on the 13th, how amazing. I have today 22nd June, seen the physio who is so impressed with my recovery that she has put me in for the advanced knee school, really impressed

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. To me providing reassuring care is essential for every patient. Even though the cellulitis is not a direct complication of your knee surgery, ensuring that it is properly treated and will settle ensures a safe outcome for your recent knee replacement. With kind regards Simon Ellis
