I was referred to Mr Ellis by my GP, and in a very friendly consultation we discussed my options. as my knees were so badly worn the only real option was both knee replacements. I went in for right knee surgery on the 2/1/2019 at 7am. had the operation at midday ,Mr Ellis phoned my wife to let her know I was in recovery. the next day Mr Ellis checked me over and said I cold go home. today is the 8/1 /2019 and I am walking around the house without my crutches. I have the greatest respect for Mr Ellis and his team, and have no worries about getting the other knee replaced in about 3 months time.

Very focused and straight to the point - a relief after the labyrinthine procedures and hurdles of other parts of the NHS. Perhaps a little optimistic in terms of estimated recovery time and occasionally assumed too much - but no hesitation in recommending Mr Ellis for knee surgery.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I will certainly take on board your comments and would welcome the opportunity to expand on them for the benefit of other patients. In particular the 'assumed too much' as I am not quite sure what is meant by this. It would be helpful if we could so speak so that I am better able to understand your comments to help future patients. I would be grateful if you could contact my practice manager and arrange for us to speak over the telephone. With kind regards Simon Ellis
