I first saw Mr Ellis in 2014 regarding my painful knee and he then recommended a new knee, which at the time was very apprehensive regarding an operation I struggled since then with pain and many cortisone injections that I decided to see Mr Ellis again to discuss my knee and the options of having the operation or continuing to have more injections. I have now decided to put my faith in Mr Ellis’s hands and undergo the surgery. I found Mr Ellis very helpful and did put my thoughts of going through an operation at ease. Although no one likes going through surgery I know that there is no other option and trust Mr Ellis to put me at ease.

Thank you very much for putting your thoughts on paper to share with other patients. A knee operation is indeed a very daunting prospect. Making the right decision for each patient is a shared discussion and understanding all the options is the key. Thank you for putting your faith in my care. With kind regards Simon Ellis

Mr Ellis came highly recommended, both by friends and my own family. I've had two consultations with Mr Ellis, which were very professional, but also friendly and informative. I have every confidence for an excellent outcome from my forthcoming knee operation, to be performed by Mr Ellis.

My first meeting with Mr Ellis was entirely professional: he was efficient, informative, very happy to listen to me, but above all he was both interested and friendly. I now have great faith that the remainder of my treatment will be smooth and successful.

Im not usually one for writing reveiws but i fell as though this one is truly deserved. Dr, Simon Ellis carried out a knee Anthroscopy operation on my on the 10th April 2019 and it has been the best hospital experience I've ever had. My knee feels great and i have no pain! I can hardly believe it. From first meeting Simon, he gave me a full and thorough explanation of what was identified in my MRI scan and talked to me about every option prior to electing for surgery. I was a former soldier of 26 years who retired in 2014 and i have had msny serious war related injuries, this has absolutely been my best hospital experience. Simon and his team were exceptional!
