When I first met Mr Simon Ellis he was very polite and reassuring, and I was only seeing him for a consultation he also at the time drained fluid from my knee. Between my first appointment with him and my operation I saw him twice. I went into KIMS in April for my knee replacement and when he came to see me before my operation he took my wife's mobile number so he can ring her when I came out of theatre which he did and he reassured her that everything had gone well and I was at the time of ringing in recovery. Mr Ellis's post operative care and follow-up appointments were very good, any problems that I thought I had was put at ease by him by saying that these things are not problems but are natural things that occur with this type of operation. When I had my operation he was coming to see me the day after but due to illness he was unable to, but when he came the next day he apologised for not seeing me the day before. I would just like to mention the anaesthetist Mike (whose surname I cannot remember) but he also was really good we chatted all the way through the operation about fishing which Mr Ellis mentioned when I see him yesterday (20/08). A very BIG thank you to all the staff and theatre team at KIMS and most of all to you Mr Simon Ellis
