I have been recommended to Mr Ellis by a friend who him self was treated by Mr Ellis. I am 51 years old female when I was 18 years old I fully snapped my Anterior cruciate ligament at that time I was referred by my GP to an orthopaedic doctor soon after he sent me to see a physio I was not diagnosed properly I was told I had sprained a ligament in my knee and needed to follow a exercise regime to help my knee the physio did help but as soon I would play sports I would be in pain and the stability of my knee was very poor I kept suffering all this years with pain and every time I complained to my GP he would referred me to see a physio which got me to a point that I decided to suffer and not waist my time also I had to give up certain exercise or sports that would aggravate my knee. Last year I was on holiday In Portugal when my knee got very swallow and in a lot of pain so I decided to pay privately for MRI which showed lots of damage to my ligaments meniscus and full snap of my Anterior cruciate ligament after paying privatly to see x2 surgeons both would operate but I did not felt at easy so when a friend told me about Mr Ellis I decided to pay for one more consultation to make up my mind as soon I attend MR Ellis clinic I felt confident to have my operation with him he was very knowledgeable friendly he explained all about my knee and all about the operation. My operation was in May I can not praise Mr Ellis enough I had arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction anterior lateral ligament reconstruction and lateral and medial meniscal tear resected yes it was very painful after surgery Mr Ellis done everything on his power to help me with the pain but for some reason my body rejected all the painkillers given. Mr Ellis was very kind and caring I felt I was in good hands from the time I have meet Mr Ellis he was very reassuring competent and professional me been a therapist I tend to ask few questions but Mr Ellis was very clear and patiently clarified all my queries. Four months have passed now and I am doing very well I can walk jump dancing and no pain my knee feels stable! wow! wow! wow! to Mr Ellis unbelievable how well I am doing I am thinking to join a net ball team no way I would even consider this before my knee operation. A big thank you to Mr Ellis.

Response from Mr Simon Ellis

Thank you very much for your feedback, it is very much appreciated. For every patient making the right management decisions needs the surgeon to sit and listen and then explain the choices with risks and benefits to allow the patient to make the correct choice. I am delighted thta you are now able to consider returning to netball. With kind regards Simon Ellis
