Mr Simon Ellis: A very kind and considerate surgeon who explained, very tactfully, my procedure of right knee replacement before surgery and kindly telephoned my Partner at home shortly after I left the theatre to explain that "all went completely as planned and that I am now back in my room and comfortable". He also spoke to me personally in the recovery room; a conversation I really appreciated, especially as he had a further operation to perform straight away. All in all, a very pleasant experience, under the circumstances, of course.
