I would like to thank Mr Ellis on the treatment I have received at the Spire Alexandra Hospital. I had a total knee replacement performed by Mr Ellis and his team on the 11th December 2019. As I also suffer from Parkinson, I was very anxious with regards to the operation, but I had no need to have worried. I could not have felt more at ease on admission, knowing I was in safe hands. From the moment I was admitted until I left. I was treated with total respect. I would also like to add a thank you to the nurse’s that saw me for my pre-assessment and to the helpful nurse and physiotherapist at the Joint School. It is now 3 weeks since the operation and I am so grateful to having had this done as I now have so much relief from the pain I experienced in the knee joint, before the operation. I can even walk a short distance without the aid of a stick, prior to the operation I was restricted to being in a wheelchair as I could not walk any distance.
