Mr Ellis performed total knee replacement surgery on my right knee 5 months ago, the operation was a success and i have carried out physio and knee strengthening exercises since. Last weekend I had a setback whilst exercising and ended up in A&E. I was in so much pain. It transpires that I had torn the tissue to my patella and was advised to revisit my surgeon. I contacted Mr Ellis who gave me an emergency appointment the next working day. He checked my knee and diagnosed the problem in no time. He then advised me for treatment and that extra physio will help. I would like to thank him for the appointment and advice on treatment to relieve the pain.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience under my care. Occasionally following surgery there are minor upsets which cause patients to worry at lot that something serious has happened.
