There are very few consultants that have a very human attitude. Mr Middleton is one of them . I was extremely happy to be talked to.rather than down to.
I would recommend him highly .I walked away feeling he was on my side.
Mr. Middleton gave me a total knee replacement operation and I am very pleased with the result. I had very little pain from soon after having the operation done and my leg is now straight, whereas before the operation, my lower leg stuck out to the right, from my knee down. I am only beginning to walk about a lot, but I had been very innactive before I had the surgery, so it is taking a time to get moving again. When I spoke to Mr.Middleton some weeks after my release from hospital, he listened to all I had to say about my knee and my condition now. I havre always found him very friendly and a good listener.\\\\\\\\\\
I write in appreciation of Mr. Middleton's professionalism, approachability and caring nature throughout the past three years. Once described by him as a 'diagnostic conundrum' I eventually had a very successful total knee replacement in November 2019. He is a surgeon who dispels fears with his explanations of procedures and can even be regarded as a friend. I now have a permanent open appointment - this is in itself very reassuring - that one can return to the care of such a competent and skilled surgeon when the need arises. Thank you so much, Mr. Middleton.
Mr Middleton replaced both my knees over a period of 2 years with outstanding care and accuracy. This has enabled me to walk daily both painlessly and with agility. His follow up post op are both thorough and caring.
The interview with Mr Middleton was well presented, all points fully covered pre to the replacement of my right hip. I felt very confident that Mr Middleton would be an excellent surgeon dispelling any previous doubts that I may have had before the interview.
