Mr Melton of the best orthopaedic surgeon I have ever come to meet. He is kind and listens to you. He never makes you feel like you are wasting his time. He's so understanding and re assures me at every appointment. He treats all his patients with dignity and respect. He double checks you have made the right decision by going ahead with your surgery.. I have nothing but respect for the true gentleman he is. He has a wonderful team of other younger doctors who also give reassurance if you are felling scared. It took me years to find a consultant that actually knew what to do about my knee condition and in 4 years both of my knees reconstruction surgery with tubicle transfer. He knew straight away what needed doing after years of being told by other orthopaedic surgeon s that nothing could be done. I will always be grateful that Mr Melton has help not only to fix a problem but also helped me learn more about my knee condition. I don't even have to worry about an awful scar as in time and with how it healed after it is fading.

Mr melton was like a breath of fresh air for me , I had reconstructive acl surgery on my right knee 20 years ago . Unfortunately my knee started to bow very badly about 5 years ago and started to be very painful , after seeing 2 consultants I was told I need a knee replacement by both , which in my opinion was to final . I was then lucky enough to be recommended to mr melton in April 2017 , after x rays and scans I was told by mr melton a knee osterotomy was an option . I had the procedure done in July 17 , I'm now 7 months post op , I've still got my own knee and my leg is straight again , If anyone reading this has any knee problems I would strongly recommend mr melton , if your knee can be saved mr melton is the man .
