I have received excellent treatment from Mr Childs and his teams. I have been kept completely aware of all procedures, implications and timescales around the successful hip replacement surgery. After six weeks, I no longer need to use crutches at all and the pain related to the previously deteriorating hip joint has completely ceased. It is noteworthy that I took private physiotherapy for six months to strengthen the hip and knee joints in preparation for surgery and I acted on any advice given. Overall, my experience has been extremely positive though I feel the Beaumont Hospital could look at improving its Administration system and there seems to be an overheating issue in the consulting rooms and around IT during the summer months.
