Mr Childs is a warm, friendly and very professional Doctor who is clearly highly skilled in his area of expertise. He put me at my ease almost immediately. He genuinely listened and explained the procedure, pros and cons along with recovery time in a way that meant I was well informed. The care from the wider team including Jon the anaesthetist and ward team was also excellent. I felt I was being cared for by a well led team and I can’t thank Mr Childs and the team enough for my new hip. When my other hip requires surgery I would feel myself to be very fortunate to be under the care of Mr Childs once again.
