I am currently under the care of Mr Akrawi in orthopaedics at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. I have already undergone one surgery on my knee and I'm currently waiting for a second, both led by Mr Akrawi. From the initial consultation through surgery and into post-op review, Mr Akrawi has been excellent. He has explained everything clearly, keeping me fully informed of the reasons behind all of his decisions and recommendations. Mr Akrawi has been determined to resolve the underlying issue, repair as much of the damage as possible and to ensure that the problem doesn't worsen. Not only will this benefit me personally, but also be of great benefit to my young family. Mr Akrawi is a knowledgeable, professional and personable consultant and I consider myself to be very lucky to be under his care.
