Mr.Spink and his team have been excellent throughout my treatment for a herniated lumbar disc. From the outset I was put at ease by his quiet and considered manner, he gave me clear choices for treatment of which I opted for surgery, as I felt that I fully trusted him to carry out my procedure effectively. I was up and walking around about within 10 hours or so after the operation, and went home the next morning with no more sciatic pain. I've just returned to see him after 6 weeks and am recovering well, he has put any worries I had to rest and I look forward to a return to normal activities after another month or two.

Mr spink ,, is truly amazing hand on heart please if he is your surgeon have total faith in him.i was left in a wheelchair from my pain and leg giving in 7 months of hell.after reading so much on the internet and joining a Facebook group on my condition I got so frightened I cancelled my operation but only a few days later contacted mr spink again and was given my new op date I went in to the spire in a wheelchair in so much pain ,had my operation that was complex stayed one night walked out very slowly but still walked out the next day this man dr spink is truly fantastic to his word please if in doubt talk to him ,I can’t ever thank him enough for giving me my life back and my children there mum ... and apart from a hand shake mr spink takes it all in his stride fantastic surgeon.Thankful

I saw Mr Spink at Spire. He’s such a lovely gentleman and very caring. He listens very carefully to what you are saying about symptoms. After my initial consultation with Mr Spink, he explained in detail my MRI scan results. I appreciated his advice and the options that he gave to me. I trusted him completely and he took the time to answer my questions. I would recommend Mr Spink to anyone.

Mr Spink recently operated on me to release a nerve that was compressed by a prolapsed disc. I am know two weeks post surgery and doing ok, no more siatic pain. I can't thank Mr Spink and all the staff that were involved in my care at Hull royal Infirmary for all they have done for me especially the staff on ward 4. I I think you are all amazing.
