The past year has been incredibly challenging for me after my motorcycle accident. From the beginning of April 2023 until the end of October 2023, I was misdiagnosed with muscle damage and neck wear and tear. Frustrated by the lack of progress, I sought a second opinion from Mr Spink privately at the end of October 2023. Within half an hour, including an X-ray, Mr Spink confirmed that I had a broken odontoid on my C2 vertebra. We agreed that surgery—specifically C1/C2 fixation—was the best course of action for my condition. I underwent the operation five weeks ago, and my recovery is progressing remarkably well.
