My primary contact is Dr. S. Dorsey, the subject of this review. The first consultation took place on tne First floor of H.R.I. over a year ago. On completion , I asked Dr. Dorsey what she thought the problem might be, and she replied, "I've no idea" . Honesty! I'm impressed. Now, about one year later, I'm discharged back to my G.P. and after all the tests and scans I'm no wiser as to the problem. I think the emphasis on 'pain levels' may affect the results of your questions as I'm sure we all have different perceptions of 'pain levels'. About fifteen years ago I underwent a total right knee replacement operation and was given the usual pain relief, but the operation was not successful leadng to a total revision of two years later. I refused all offers of pain relief. I did not even take a paracetamol!! When I asked Mr. Gibbon why, he told me my body was used to pain. I still do not use any form of pain relief. My fault .... I should have explained that instead of assuming that you would find the problem. Poor communication! More specific questions please. Barry Sharpe
