Although clearly a busy man, Mr Talawadekar always had the time to spend explaining my injuries, the work he had done to fix my fractured wrists and the care I should take during recovery whilst maintaining his usual jovial manner. It was obvious that his medical colleagues respect and like him and to my untrained eye, the work he's done has been excellent.

Mr. Talawadekar provided excellent care from the initial consultation to my final o/p appointment with him. He took great care to explain the condition and the options open to me for treatment. I opted for surgical treatment and he fully explained the procedure and its pros and cons. He made me fully aware of the risks involved. Moreover his manner was genial but professional. I was seen at Furness GH for the initial consultation and follow up but the operation was carried out at Westmorland GH during the recent high demand on the NHS. This was my choice and reduced the wait for the operation. I can fully recommend WGH as a good hospital where I received excellent and friendly care.

I received great care from Mr G Talawadekar. He carried out a Femur Nailing operation and has done an outstanding job! Leaving me back on my feet and in a good state 3 month later. My scars are basically un-noticeable.

I recommend Mr. Talawadekar completely. I agree with previous reviewers that his lovely manner and lively personality put me at ease and made me confident that the operation to insert 3 enormous titanium screws would 'fix' my broken hip. I am looking forward to getting back on my bicycle, salsa dancing and walking up a few more mountains. Many thanks for the first class care from the orthopaedic team and staff at Furness General.

Very professional, had a nice manner. I had total trust in his opinion and with the surgery he performed. If I am unlucky enough to break anything else I would be happy for him to take care of me. I observed him giving training to others and felt condfident in his instruction.
