Mr Talawadekar is in our opinion the equivalent to Noel the super vet, both my Husband, and Myself cannot thank him enough for what he achieved in the surgery performed it was unbelievable. He is such a kind thoughtful, and precise person explaining every step of the treatment, and afterwards is still happy to carry on with care, and understanding to put us both at ease. I am just so happy that it was him who undertook the operation, and that he works within the N.H.S still in my mind the best medical treatment in the world. Hopefully we will see you in 4 weeks to check on the ongoing recovery. Many thanks Mr Talawadekar. Regards Michelle/Ged

Mr Talawadekar... My Hero!! I cannot fault him at all.. from the moment you meet, he makes you feel very at ease, like you're his only patient, very happy, very thorough & he listens to all your needs. Although he is extremely busy.. I felt he treat my 2 very minor ops with the exact same due care & attention as he would with one of his much major ops. My ops may have been minor but to me, having Carpal Tunnel in both hands has been awful and had limited me to living a very frustrated life, off work on sick leave for almost a year... Mr Talawadekar has given me my life back..with 100% success.. & all my skills can stretch to is baking him & his wonderful team a cake to show my gratitude.. ( I shall bring to my post op appt :-) ) If only there were more Mr Talawadekars, the world would be a much happier place..

I am the patient's mam and was very nervous when my son had to go for surgery. Dr Talawadekar was really good he explained everything to me and rang me as soon as my son had come out of theatre to say it had all gone well.

I was referred to Mr Talawadekar after breaking my collarbone in a cycling accident & was facing the prospect of 6 to 8 weeks unpaid sick leave from work. The collarbone is generally left to heal by itself these days, however mine was quite severe & qualified for the option of a surgical repair. From the start Mr Talawadekar was incredibly helpful, he took the time to explain all the risks involved in the surgical repair procedure & also the potential advantages, he answered all my questions, concerns & even provided me with information & statistics to check up online before going ahead.I decided to have the surgical repair which required a metal plate being fitted to hold the bones in position. From the minute I arrived at Westmorland General Hospital for surgery, Mr Talawadekar, his team & the nurses were just amazing. I felt relaxed & comfortable for my whole stay. Two weeks later, just had my follow up & stitches removed. Fantastic results! I have already got full movement back without pain which has already allowed me to go back to work on very light duties. So glad I had the operation. I can't thank Mr Talawadekar his team enough, nice to be able to write such a positive review. I would also like to thank the staff at Furness General Hospital where I received my initial consultation & aftercare.
