Mr Talawadelar has been extremely informative, thorough and extremelly kind whilst i attended my appointment. My subsequent surgery was more complex than first anticipated and he came to see me afterwards to explain what he had done for me, On following appointments he showed me the scans from the operation and explained what to expect during my rehabilitation. I am very happy with the results of my surgery and as it was my first ever surgery under a general anaesthetic I could not have been under the care of a bettet surgeon. He is a credit to the othopaedic services within the motecambe bay trust. Thank you Mr T from Stephen Smith.

Mr T operated on my broken hip after the first operation carried out by a different surgeon failed. I have found Mr T to be an excellent surgeon with first class bedside manner and post operative support.

After sustaining a grade 3 AC joint dislocation I underwent Tight Rope Twin Tail Fixation surgery. The surgery went well and after 7 weeks in a sling I have begun movement exercises. The doctor explained the operation and the options in detail. Cons – The aftercare (not from the doctor or nurses themselves who attended both check-ups) was poor as I never received the NHS physio which was requested. I did attempt to call but had no success.

Mr Talawadeka made me feel very comfortable at our first meeting at his clinic right through to the day of my operation for (Dupuytren's Contracture )and his after care is first rate. Mr Talawadeka is a very caring man, who I would think he would be a great asset to any hospital. How would describe him' informative, caring, friendly.

On behalf of my mum Margaret, we thank Mr Talawadekar for his professionalism, kindness and compassion shown to us, from our first consultation we felt comfortable and at ease talking to Mr T about mums shoulder replacement, it wasn't straightforward as mum has problems with low blood platelets, the operation had to be carried out at FGH, with ICU cover if necessary, following the operation Mr T took the time to call me to say the operation had gone well, it was very reassuring as I was at home 60 miles away. Mums operation has been a great success, and she is recovering well. Mr Talawadekar is kindest, caring surgeon anyone could ever meet and a major asset to our local hospitals Our grateful thanks to all concerned Margaret & Jean
