Unfortunately it is a long waiting list, before I got to see Mr Talawadekar, but this guy is worth the wait, he listened to my explanation of the injury, did his own testing regarding how mobile my shoulder was & strength estimates, this was followed by extensive testing to confirm the problem, IE. Ex-ray, MRI. This culminated in him eventually operating on my shoulder, the operation has returned almost full mobility to my shoulder/arm & the strength is slowly rebuilding in both my arm and shoulder. This doctor has given me a new lease of freedom in life, I fully support him and would recommend him to anyone. Regards Derek Butler, Flookburgh.

Dr Talawadekar made me feel at ease from start to finish. He made what was a very traumatic time for me much more bearable by the fact he listened and answered my concerns and questions, constantly reassured me and if anything made the whole experience a lot more positive. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Mr Talawadekar repaired my shoulder 12 months ago. He took the time to show me all my Xrays & explain why I needed to have the op. Being in a lot of pain and a older person this helped a lot. I had a overnight stay in the day ward Barrow-in-Furness. The staff lovely & very helpful. No complaints. The only complaint I have is with the administration department. I had to go for my pre op twice. This wasted every-ones time & costs the hospital money.

My treatment was second to none. Every question was answered and he even showed us the x-ray of what he had achieved. If you weren't smiling when you went in , you certainly will be when you leave. Thank you so much. M.M. Woodburn.
