From my initial appointment, Mr Talawadekar was excellent and very professional. He reassured me about the surgical treatment that I needed to fix wrist impingement. With a thorough explanation of all the options as well as surgery
I am awaiting the surgery now but I am confident that all will be rectified and in a a timely fashion all considering the Pandemic challenges I am so grateful to Mr Talawadaker for his attention to detail and reassuarrance

From my initial appointment Mr Talawadekar was excellent and very professional. He reassured me about the surgical treatment that I needed to fix my shoulder impingement. I received written information about the surgery and was fully informed at all times. The surgery itself went very smoothly including timely discharge and physio appointments. I am so grateful to Mr T as my shoulder has full range of movement and no more pain. Mr T is an excellent surgeon.

I had no feeling in my little, next and middle finger going up to just below my elbow. I had a trapped ulner nerve, and I lost count of things I have broken and dropped because I thought I had a hold on them! Mr Talawadekar was lovely, he immediately makes you feel relaxed and he is very good at listening to your concerns and explaining things to you. The actual procedure was quick and I was looked after superbly. I would most definitely recommend Mr Talawadekar if you want first class treatment all the way.

I had a ganglion cyst removed from my hand by Mr Talawadekar .
From the first consultation and throughout the procedure he explained everything fully in plane & simple terms. All the staff were excellent but Mr Talawadekar put me at so much ease with his humorous manner.

Introduction:
After completing Orthopaedic training in the UK, Mr. Talawadekar undertook Fellowship training in shoulder, elbow hand/wrist and sports surgery in the UK and Canada.
He currently works as Orthopaedic Consultant with special interest in Upper Limb Surgery at the University Hospitals of Morcambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He has been an Orthopaedic Consultant since 2016. Majority of his work involves Shoulder and Elbow surgery with the rest involving Hand and Wrist. He also perform general orthopaedic trauma surgeries.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Tr&Orth) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is actively involved in research with multiple National and International presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals and is the Principle investigator for some National Research Projects, at his trust.
He is also a keen trainer and junior doctor educator, and was awarded 'Teacher of the year' award. He is an accredited faculty with the AO foundation, a prime worldwide organisation that deals with trauma care. He is the College Tutor and is responsible for surgical training at the Furness General Hospital.
He is a member of British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS). He was awarded Certificate of Excellence from iWantGreatCare, a patient review website, after becoming one of their most highly and consistently recommended clinicians by patients treated under his care.
Prior to coming to the UK, he completed Undergraduate and formal Post graduate training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at University of Pune, India.
