Mr Talawadekar will never know that he transformed my life by performing shoulder surgery on me in may 2021 but he really did. After two years of hardly any sleep and pain he put me at ease and rectified the problem. I can now do everything I should be able to do with my right arm and shoulder. This was likely a simple rotor cuff repair for him but to me it has been life changing. Can’t thank him enough.

Mr talawadekar did a fantastic job on my left shoulder when I damaged my Supra spinitus, he repaired a massive tear successfully.

Introduction:
After completing Orthopaedic training in the UK, Mr. Talawadekar undertook Fellowship training in shoulder, elbow hand/wrist and sports surgery in the UK and Canada.
He currently works as Orthopaedic Consultant with special interest in Upper Limb Surgery at the University Hospitals of Morcambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He has been an Orthopaedic Consultant since 2016. Majority of his work involves Shoulder and Elbow surgery with the rest involving Hand and Wrist. He also perform general orthopaedic trauma surgeries.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Tr&Orth) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is actively involved in research with multiple National and International presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals and is the Principle investigator for some National Research Projects, at his trust.
He is also a keen trainer and junior doctor educator, and was awarded 'Teacher of the year' award. He is an accredited faculty with the AO foundation, a prime worldwide organisation that deals with trauma care. He is the College Tutor and is responsible for surgical training at the Furness General Hospital.
He is a member of British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS). He was awarded Certificate of Excellence from iWantGreatCare, a patient review website, after becoming one of their most highly and consistently recommended clinicians by patients treated under his care.
Prior to coming to the UK, he completed Undergraduate and formal Post graduate training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at University of Pune, India.
