What an absolutely amazing person. Professional, kind, caring and an amazing surgeon. He explains everything that is going to happen and afterwards what procedure he did. I would highly recommend him not only as a surgeon but also as a person. He is also very funny and makes you feel at ease.

I had a rotor cuff repair done at Spire FYLDE Coast done by this surgeon and it was carried out successfully and not only that the surgeon took time to explain to me exactly what he was going to perform and showed me photos of the procedure,It was successful and I’m very happy about the whole experience

I’m very happy with the treatment I received. I had a shoulder that kept on dislocating. I found Dr.Talawadekar very informative and helpful. He always had a positive attitude and was in good spirts. Introduction:
After completing Orthopaedic training in the UK, Mr. Talawadekar undertook Fellowship training in shoulder, elbow hand/wrist and sports surgery in the UK and Canada.
He currently works as Orthopaedic Consultant with special interest in Upper Limb Surgery at the University Hospitals of Morcambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He has been an Orthopaedic Consultant since 2016. Majority of his work involves Shoulder and Elbow surgery with the rest involving Hand and Wrist. He also perform general orthopaedic trauma surgeries.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Tr&Orth) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is actively involved in research with multiple National and International presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals and is the Principle investigator for some National Research Projects, at his trust.
He is also a keen trainer and junior doctor educator, and was awarded 'Teacher of the year' award. He is an accredited faculty with the AO foundation, a prime worldwide organisation that deals with trauma care. He is the College Tutor and is responsible for surgical training at the Furness General Hospital.
He is a member of British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS). He was awarded Certificate of Excellence from iWantGreatCare, a patient review website, after becoming one of their most highly and consistently recommended clinicians by patients treated under his care.
