From the moment I met Dr Talawadekar l felt at ease with my future treatment, with his great knowledge of the procedures he carries out, his pleasant demeanour and his very honest conversation all worries were gone. I would personally recommend him for any procedures he is offering to carry out for you, I myself have already got my name on his list again. Mr Talawadekar is a very professional and friendly consultant, he really puts you at ease.
I went to Mr T initially for carpal tunnel in my right hand and then later this year I had to have a prp procedure in my right elbow.
He listens to you and I always feel that I'm getting the best care from him.
I would definitely recommend him.

Introduction:
After completing Orthopaedic training in the UK, Mr. Talawadekar undertook Fellowship training in shoulder, elbow hand/wrist and sports surgery in the UK and Canada.
He currently works as Orthopaedic Consultant with special interest in Upper Limb Surgery at the University Hospitals of Morcambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He has been an Orthopaedic Consultant since 2016. Majority of his work involves Shoulder and Elbow surgery with the rest involving Hand and Wrist. He also perform general orthopaedic trauma surgeries.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Tr&Orth) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is actively involved in research with multiple National and International presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals and is the Principle investigator for some National Research Projects, at his trust.
He is also a keen trainer and junior doctor educator, and was awarded 'Teacher of the year' award. He is an accredited faculty with the AO foundation, a prime worldwide organisation that deals with trauma care. He is the College Tutor and is responsible for surgical training at the Furness General Hospital.
He is a member of British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS). He was awarded Certificate of Excellence from iWantGreatCare, a patient review website, after becoming one of their most highly and consistently recommended clinicians by patients treated under his care.
Prior to coming to the UK, he completed Undergraduate and formal Post graduate training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at University of Pune, India.
