From Mr Talawadaker introducing himself I felt very comfortable ! I had had an Xray at my local hospital and it did not take long for Mr Talawadaker to advise me of the treatment options for the very swollen (and ugly) extremely painful Right Index Joint - Distal Inter phalangel. I chose to have the Gel surrounding the joint withdrawn from the finger with a syringe and then injected with steroids. I was called back to the hospital within the week to have the small procedure, I was given a local anesthetic and the procedure commenced, 15 minutes later I was on my way home. I am now pain free - back to nail polish and more importantly being able to write legibly and not dropping every thing I pick up.
