Thank you Dr Strauss and your brilliant team at The Royal Marsden. I suspect that I, like many cancer patients, find the whole experience terrifying though we may not present that face to the world. Dr Strauss is straightforward and honest in his appraisal which helps greatly. The main concern in these corona-beset times is to avoid delays in treatment and get rid of that cancer that has become such an unwelcome, uninvited guest. Again, Dr Strauss talked of finding creative ways around transport problems which was reassuring too. The relief after surgery has been huge and thanks seem inadequate but they are very heartfelt.
