Mr Gupte saw me on short notice for a meniscus injury. His analysis was clear, easy to understand, he gave me options. I opted for key hole surgery. This he performed quickly and efficiently at St. Johns and Elizabeth hospital which I would also highly recommend. My knee feels great. Very little pain or scarring. Thank you so much Mr. Gupte.

I would highly recommend Mr Gupte. I have a complicated knee injury (dating back 20 years) and not only did Mr Gupte take the time to understand my history, he was able to put me at ease and provide clear explanations as to what was happening in my knee. He always explored the different options that I have and empowered me to decide what would be the best next step. He performed a highly complicated knee surgery on me back in 2015 and throughout the appointments and procedures he always made me feel like I was in control and would answer any questions with complete empathy. I have since been back to him a few times, whenever pain has returned, and he is always so patient at explaining the causes and how to mitigate them without having to resort to more surgery. I wish there were more surgeons like Mr Gupte in the world!

As a nurse at the Wellington Hospital where Mr Gupte works, I chose him because of his excellent reputation with all the staff there. He deserves his reputation. He is knowledgeable and thorough in his examinations and explanations. He took time to explain all the options and when I decided to go ahead with surgery on my knee I had a very good outcome. My knee got all of its functionality back again. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient of Mr Gupte’s for nearly 8 years and had a full knee replacement on 23 July 2019. Over the years, we worked together to manage the symptoms of my osteoarthritis but it is only when I reached the stage of bone on bone and the knee started locking that I decided to have surgery. Mr Gupte takes the time to listen to me and to explain everything clearly. I have an extremely low pain threshold and really dreaded the operation but I knew from the start that I was in the best hands as I had complete faith in Mr Gupte. He is so thorough and extremely caring. I am not a medic but I was most impressed with my post-surgical X-rays and my clean wound.
