I suffered an ACL rupture in my right knee during our skiing holiday in February 2019. Mr Gupte was recommended by a couple of surgeons who clearly rated his expertise and I arranged to see him as soon as we returned to London. In addition to his obvious skill as a surgeon, Mr Gupte came across as warm and communicative, an impression which was consistently reinforced in my subsequent contact with him, from my ACL reconstruction surgery which took place in March 2019, to the present day. Mr Gupte has been extremely responsive to my many queries and his common sense provided me with invaluable guidance in many decisions I made over the past year. My knee seems to have recovered very successfully with almost a full range of movement (I am still working on it) and an undeniable stability. I am hoping to put it to the test during the next skiing season.
