I was about to score what could have been described as one of the greatest goals ever seen on a football pitch when I was savagely fouled by a nasty defender, knackering my knee in the process. After nearly a year of being pushed from pillar to post by the hospital, my local GP and numerous physio's with my knee getting worse and not better - I found a saviour in Dr Gupte! I just wish I went to see him earlier!! Within 10 minutes of my first appointment (later to be confirmed he was spot on by an MRI scan) he diagnosed the injury was very serious ( ruptured cruciate and medial ligaments and mashed up cartilage). He understood my desire to get back playing sport and gave me honest and open advice of realistic expectations about the operation and chances of full recovery. The operation went really well and the recovery as good as I expected. 14 months on from the operation Dr Gupte has just given me the green light to get back on the pitch and score magical goals once again!
