My name is Shaun Webster, I have been going to see Mr Benedict Lankester and team on and off for a few years and have always been treated with respect and made to feel cared for. I recently had a small procedure on my knee. I would just like to thank
Mr Lankester and all his team for being so understanding and caring. I have small blood vessel disease of the brain which makes any operation very difficult for the anaesthetist, Joe Tyrell was my anaesthetist for my operation. Some three months ago he talked me through my operation knowing that I could have a major stroke. He was great he made me feel very comfortable and calm. Thank you Joe. He even came to recovery and I got the thumbs up, in all, all the team were just fantastic.

I have osteo arthritis in my knees, I have seen Mr Lankestar twice in the past three years, who has examined thoroughly X-rays of my knees with me, leading eventually to a total knee replacement at the Circle haspital in Bath on November 07 2017.The care I received at the hospital was second to none, and the new knee has been a great success.I am now waiting for the second knee operation.

Mr Lankester was helpful and attentive to my concerns and my operation a great success but at times some of the staff I felt could have been more communicative whilst in the ward, but especially when I was advised to go home without prior warning - that could have been handled more tactfully.
However on the whole my experience in Yeovil Hospital was a good one and I appreciate the level of care given.

My treatment at Yeovil Hospital from the time I arrived in the ambulance to the time I left was excellent. I was cared for by ALL staff in a very compassionate manner for which I am very grateful. Thank you very, very much. Avery Happy New Year to you all.

Ben Lankester is an orthopaedic surgeon (specialising in knee surgery and trauma reconstruction) at Yeovil District Hospital and Circle Bath. After training in Oxford, Bath and Bristol, he completed fellowship training in arthroscopic knee cartilage surgery, ligament reconstruction and all types of knee replacement surgery, in addition to general orthopaedic trauma. He has been a consultant since 2007.
