Since Mr. Yewlett has been available at Grantham Hospital, the care and attention I have received both from Mr Yewlett and his staff has been outstanding.
Mr. Yewlett listens to you as a patient, and explains fully what your options are. If he is able to, he will deal with any problems immediately.
I have great faith in him, and truly hope that he will continue at Grantham Hospital.
Having received previous care from a specialist in Nottingham, Mr. Yewlett is now putting the work carried out in the past right for me. I cannot praise him highly enough.

Went in with a very bad shoulder after falling down the stairs, I could not move it hardly, I saw Dr Yewlett and he operated on it and I have had no trouble with it since and now have full mobility back in my shoulder. He is a very professional and caring Dr.

As, it always has been over 40 years, my experience at this hospital was excellent, from the doctors to nurses to receptionists everybody was helpful and kind. I was rarely kept waiting and both the initial visit to the resulting operations(2) and the follow up visits were efficient and what was needed. Everybody filled me with confidence and had the patients best interests to the fore.
At my first visit I was in extreme pain and was seeing the doctor within 5 minutes. Both operations were efficiently carried out and everything was clearly explained, with very good care for the time I had to spend in hospital.
It would have been far more onerous ( and expensive) if I had had to go to Lincoln or other and it is true to say that little can be very good.... there is more than a strong case for Grantham Hospital to have a long future.
My husband has had a knee replacement recently and was also extremely pleased with his care - before, during and after the operation.

We would highly recommend Mr Yewlett especially as our son was only 16 when he broke his collarbone and we were advised by doctors at Lincoln that no operation should take place. Mr Yewlett explained the pros and cons with the operation which gave us as the parents confidence to go forward and also put our son at ease before and on the day of the operation.
We would also like to thank the other personnel under Mr Yewlett who supported us during the appointments before and after the operation.
We are pleased with the outcome and Mr Yewlett's advice that our son can take up his favourite sport again within 6 weeks.
Mr Yewlett is an asset to Grantham Hospital and the patients in this area.
