Since being diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2018, I have been under the care of the breast care unit at Basildon Hospital. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff in the unit. My consultant, Mr Salih is compassionate, caring and understanding and I have complete trust and faith in him. He has always had time for me and listened to me with kindness. He has never made me feel like I am just another patient. The 2 breast care nurses, Helen and Vanessa, are also very caring and supportive. I know they are always at the end of the phone.
