Our daughter visited Dr Clayton about her acne, which she was very depressed and anxious about. He was kind, professional and very informative. She left feeling very positive about the course of action he suggested and has already started seeing a result.
An excellent service, thank you
I had been suffering with a serve case of atopic dermatitis (eczema) for a few months before I'd visit Dr Clayton in March 2017 and was very anxious it wouldn't go away as I'd tried many different treatments. However, within minutes of seeing him, it was clear his specialised knowledge in dermatology was on another level compared to the GPs I'd visited previously for eczema. He understood all of my symptoms and was very reassuring that the eczema would clear. He gave me a routine to follow, foods to avoid and the correct prescriptions (which actually worked!)
I walked out of the clinic with incredible relief and my eczema had cleared up within a week. I cannot recommend this doctor enough!
18 months ago my daughter Rachel had an appoinment with Dr Clayton regarding her skin and he prescribed her Roaccutane and 9 months later discharged her from his professional care
Her skin has remained flawless ever since, she now feels confident enough to undertake activities such as swimming and hot yoga and more importantly she is now happy to be seen without makeup on. A simple wish , but for Rachel this was unthinkable 18 months ago.
The 2 of us are going away when she finishes University in May for a week in the sun and again without your help I doubt that sort of holiday would have been possible.
So once again we both send our thanks to you for your caring , professional attitude, for listening and realising the stress acne can cause in anybodys life.
I have seen Dr Tim Clayton now several times for a lesion I had on my neck he promptly diagnosed this as bowen's and he removed it under local anaesthetic within 7 days of my initial consultation. This proved successful and no further treatment has been needed. I saw Tim again today about another issue that I thought was very similar only to be re-assured that it was not the same and no action was required.
I would highly recommend Dr Tim Clayton whose knowledge and patient care are first class.
I first saw Dr Tim Clayton over 5 years ago, after receiving a variation of advice/ diagnosis from more than one profetional locally I decided to travel to Manchester to see him privately - and I was so lucky to have made that decision.
I had concerns over a growing mole on my left arm and had been reassured that everything was ok by my local dermatology department - that evening Dr Clayton took one look at it & took it out under local anasthetic there and then - within 4 days I was facing a diagnosis of Melanoma!
The care I received by him and continue to receive is priceless - I honestly cant thank him enough! If it wasnt for him who knows where I would be at by today - His knowledge & expertise is of the highest standard, & I have a LOT to thank him for. Do not hesitate to book an appointment with him, you will not regret it - after all you cant put a price on life.
