I am so happy to have stumbled across this great man (he wouldn't describe himself thus, I'm sure -- he has a quiet, kind humility). After a decade of taking T4 and dealing with the usual GP nonsense when my symptoms actually appeared to be worsening, I typed "open minded endo" (or some such) into google and lo -- up came his name, with glowing reviews. I packed a flask of tea and made the long drive to Gatwick to see him. It is not an understatement to say that after only three months, my life is completely changed. He listened, he questioned *gently, warmly* and looked closely at my bloods, then suggested trying T3. It is as if a light has gone on for me, finally; I can get through an entire week without sleeping 16 hours at a time by Thursday. It is incredible. My own GP was quite sniffy when I mentioned I was trying out T3, despite the bloods clearly showing autoimmune hypothyroidism - but Dr Zachariah was as open-minded as I'd hoped, and I feel like my faith in the medical profession has been restored.
