At my initial consultation Dr Kandikattu diagnosed the issue with my knee and explained carefully and clearly what he could do to help my situation. When I went to the Day Ward at Stamford Hospital this week I was very impressed at the way that the whole team including Dr Kandikattu work together to make it a positive experience. Because I have serious mobility issues I was concerned whether they would be able to manage my transfers etc., they did so with compassion and friendly efficiency ~ Dr Kandikattu was not too important to lend a hand with this when necessary! His team obviously hold him in high regard and that speaks well of his whole attitude to his work. He explained everything before the procedure and during it, constantly asking if I was alright and ensuring that I was free from pain as far as possible. I am not the sort of person who writes reviews, but I am happy to make an exception in this instance. After being passed from one clinician to another, I feel fortunate to have ended up in the care of this knowledgeable consultant who is plainly at the top of his field.
