Doctor Vijay is good. Its my second interaction with him today in two weeks time. I am pleased with his diagnostics. The only thing which I have got a question on, is wether he was listening to everything I was saying or not as doctors are usually busy in typing things on the computer. However he sounds an intelligent guy and knows what he is doing.

Ideally we should be listening without typing on the computer at the same time, but it is a struggle fitting everything into a 10 minute consultation. I do try my best to actively listen whilst typing - and if ever think I have missed something you have said, then please let me know! To add to this, I was also the on-call GP this morning (13th Feb) and had to juggle around 40 phone call back to patients, patients to see in the surgery and other urgent requests/queries (that might pop up on our computer screen).

I was seen by Dr. Vijay on 5th February. Although the surgery was very busy and delays naturally occur as some patients run over their allotted time, the doctor listened very carefully and attentively to my issues and although normally patients only have time to discuss one or 2 health concerns at the most.....I had 3 or 4 all of which he attended to very professionally and I left the surgery feeling very relaxed and happy that I had received a first class service from the doctor.

It really means a lot that you understand how patients might face waiting past their appointment time due to unpredictable needs of patients seen. It requires such a collaborative approach and understanding to maximise what the NHS can deliver to all. Thanks for your feedback.

Dr Vijayadeva saw me at short notice and diagnosed infection quickly. Very informative & reassuring, as he has always been when I’ve seen him in the past. I’m very grateful.
