It is nice to hear we were able to see you at short notice. I do use text messages a lot to navigate patients to where they can find more information online (e.g. www.patient.info or www.nhs.uk). It is difficult to give all this information in short 10 minute appointments and we also understand how difficult it is remember everything we say. I also prefer text messages as my handwriting is not so great and it is easier to lose scraps of paper than your phone! I am glad that you found such follow up information useful.
