Like most practices, Cloister Road Surgery struggles to meet ever increasing demand for appointments, which impacts on waiting time. The practice also has limited rooms to see patients, even if more staff could be employed. Patients with long term health problems tend to have more appointments per year, which also needs to be balanced with meeting the needs of other patients who may have urgent acute problems. If you ever face a difficulty getting an appointment for an urgent problem, you can request for the on-call GP to call you back to discuss it further.
