The operation was very successful.The day after had no pain only discomfort with the gas..went home lunch time.Dr Richard the anaesthetist was very polite asked me questions before the the surgery he put me at ease once I was in the theatre,i felt comfortable not nervous.Thank you Dr Richard.

Dr Stumpfle is a great doctor and I would highly recommend him. This was the first time I have had major surgery and I was very nervous. Before the surgery he took the time to discuss and explain all my options to me, such that I was able to make an informed decision as to which route I wished to go down; and in the anaesthesia room itself he was calm and professional, yet took the time to make me feel comfortable such that everything went smoothly and my nerves disappeared, even making me laugh. I also appreciated his visit the day after surgery to check in and to make sure that all had indeed gone smoothly: it had, exactly as he had said it would!

Dr Stümpfle is efficient and kind in his manner. He takes the time to explain procedures and listens to the patient’s concerns. He is technically skilful and provides the best care pre, intra- and post-operatively. He appreciated that I am a fellow medic and treated me with empathy and compassion as well as with professional courtesy. Thank you Dr Stümpfle!

Richard was sensitive, kind and good humoured. Having had a terrible time under general anaesthetic previously I was very nervous going into the operation. I also have a rare condition called Mastocytosis which can cause issues with some types of drugs. However, it all went really well this time, the drugs did what they were supposed to do with no bad reactions. Richard also came to check I was okay afterwards. Altogether a good experience.
